Privacy by design
Built around the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019
The estate is the data controller and LangoHub its processor. Records auto-delete after 12 months (estates can shorten this), data is hosted in the United States with legal safeguards, and plain photos are never analysed by software.
- No national IDs retained — the guard types the number, the card goes back to the visitor
- Visitors are told before any photo — and can decline where the estate allows
- No facial recognition, no biometrics. Optional ID scans are not stored by LangoHub
- Visit records and photos auto-delete after 12 months
- Exports are text-only; photos stay in private storage and are released only on a formal request
- Every correction is logged in the audit trail
PRICING
Simple per-unit pricing
KES 200 per unit a month
KES 200 per unit for the first 200 units, KES 120 per unit above 200 · minimum KES 3,500 a month. Prices include VAT. Pay 10 months, get 12 on annual.
